His first book of photography, "Thirty Pieces of Silver", was praised world wide. Scott's professional background includes four years active duty as a photographer for the U.S. Navy. He is a decorated Gulf War Veteran, serving aboard the USS Tarawa from 1990 to 1993. After the Navy, Scott began focusing almost entirely on his artwork. He has received many awards, been published in several press outlets and national books, and has participated in group and solo shows from San Diego to New York. Scott is the founder of Churchworks, a Pennsylvania non-profit artist foundation which helps in artistic education, promotion and awareness. In 1999 he married his longtime love, Heather. They live and work in Lebanon Pennsylvania with their dog, two cats, and their rattlesnake, Elvis.
